What is Ground Based Aerial Imaging?

The concept is simple. We attach a high resolution digital camera or video device to the top of a telescopic mast to provide aerial photographs and imaging service without the use of a airplane, helicopter of man platform (cherry picker).

We have a 15 Meter tall mast which is portable for access to inner courtyards and areas with no vehicle access and a 30 Meter tall mast (one of the tallest in the UK) which is mounted on a 4x4 vehicle.

Once the mast is up, a process that takes around 15 - 20 minutes, we can control where the camera is pointing via a remote pan and tilt platform and have total control of all the camera functions (zoom, shutter speed, focus etc.) from the ground using a laptop computer and our special software.

We can take high resolution sitll images up to 12 Mega Pixels which are great for capturing huge amounts of detail or we can view and record high quality video footage. Images can be put onto a CD or printed and video footage can be transferred onto DVD all on site within minutes.
